AUTHOR BIO:
Robbie Cheadle is a children’s author and poet.
The Sir Chocolate children’s picture books, co-authored by Robbie and Michael Cheadle, are written in sweet, short rhymes which are easy for young children to follow and are illustrated with pictures of delicious cakes and cake decorations. Each book also includes simple recipes or biscuit art directions which children can make under adult supervision.
Robbie has also published books for older children which incorporate recipes that are relevant to the storylines.

The fondant fish are very clever, but I think I’m more interested in the make-up of the chocolate coral reefs. 🙂

Thanks for popping in Liz! I’m sure that Robbie will be able to shed more light on the chocolate coral reefs! Hers look very realistic and almost to nice to eat, but that is what fondant is all about – and in this case, the kids can devour “Sir Choc” Book at the same time. Hi Liz, the coral reefs are a mixture of coconut, Rice Krispies cereal or nuts [you can see the difference in the pictures] and melted chocolate. I shape the mixture into rocks and reefs, etc. It is a very yummy mixture. The quantities are 1/3 of each ingredient.
