Images and Glimpses

Troubles, a stray cat #photograph and #illustration done by me as an #anniversary gift for my granddaughter, who loves him a lot! He is now the guardian of my garden and a regular visitor at my kitchen.
A #anniversary gift to my grandson: my #illustration of a #peregrinefalcon - his favourite bird and one of the main characters in Book 5, “The Bird Mission: An African Adventure - Fauna Park Tales”.
Beautiful #woodcarving among the reeds at the bird sanctuary #estuary #landscapephotography
A walk on the wild side - weather has been dry! #photography #walking
After 39 years of marriage, we feel blessed to have family, some far, a few nearby and a a few new ones on the horizon, share their good wishes and marvellous gifts with us for the 15th of February. 1980 Seems not that long ago after all! Thanks to my son-in-law and younger daughter for these goodies from the South African shop. 🤩 #anniversary More updates and family photos will follow when we get together for the BIG EAT ... and so forth. 🤩🎈🎉🎊🎈
A wonderful floral surprise for me and Lionell all the way from Miami! Thanks so much for this lovely arrangement which I accept with much affection for you and your family. 💖💞💖
#iris and #rose combination #photography from hubby’s bouquet - happy me! 💐🌷🌹💐
Flurries of snow left our backyard lit up and ankle deep in snow - an overnight miracle! #snowfall #photography
First flurries of snow in our backyard!
